Lupe Fiasco released what he calls the official cover art for DROGAS today (February 16).
The album is one of three that Fiasco says will be the last LPs of his career.
“Drogas” means “drugs” in Spanish and the rapper has been using the phrase “Don’t Ruin Us God Said” when promoting the album.

It appears as though Lupe Fiasco plans to release DROGAS in the near future. Yesterday, the Chicago native tweeted the cover art to the project with the caption “Don’t Ruin Us God Said,” which is also an acronym for “DRUGS,” which means “DROGAS” in spanish.

True to form, Lupe Fiasco’s fans have already begun deciphering the cover art. One Slumz.Boxden user hypothesized that the time on the watch pictured (1:29) hints to a January 29 release. As of press time, no official date has been announced. Until then, we’ll have to wait and see if DROGAS arrives this month.

Lupe Fiasco announced the titles to each of the three albums he intends to release in 2016.

Lupe Fiasco shared his plans to release three albums in 2016.
Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco offered an album update to fans over the weekend, revealing his plans to release not one, but three albums next year.
The lyricist shared the news in a handful of messages sent on Twitter yesterday (December 20).

“Attention Lupe Fans: 3 full album releases in 2016. #Drogas is up first. Not taking any questions at this time. Thank you…One spoiler…”Mural Jr.” on #DROGAS is the lyrical of life! #DontRuinUsGodSaid,” Lupe said in two separate tweets.
News of Lupe’s plans to release three albums in 2016 comes shortly after he announced that he’ll be releasing The Cool 2 in winter 2017.
“The Cool” celebrates its 8th birthday today. The Cool is dead….long live The Cool 2. Winter 2017,” Lupe tweeted on December 18.
