Meek Mill will reportedly miss out on the opportunity to star in a forthcoming Will Smith-produced film due to his recent probation violation ruling.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania rapper was found guilty of violating his probation this past Thursday (December 17). The rapper is on probation stemming from gun charges in 2008. In addition to travel restrictions, the judge decreed that Meek Mill must not perform or work until his planned sentencing date of February 5.

According to Page Six, Meek Mill was scheduled to travel to Hollywood in November to discuss a potential role in “12 O’Clock Boys,” a film produced by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment.

The publication reports that the film is “based on the story of the infamous West Baltimore illegal-dirt-bike riders who were the subject of an indie documentary that debuted at SXSW in 2013.”

Meek Mill was lined up to play the role of Wheelie Wayne, Page Six sources say.

However, the MMG rapper reportedly missed a scheduled trip to Hollywood for the film “because he had to take a urine test as part of his probation just four days after a previous test.”
