Boosie Badazz is cancer free after undergoing major surgery to his kidneys.
According to TMZ, doctors removed half of one of his kidneys through what’s called a nephrectomy. Boosie says doctors say the cancer was completely removed. He’s still recovering at the hospital.
Since Boosie didn’t have health insurance, he spent a reported $90,000 on the surgery. It’s also reported he’s slated to spend the next three weeks in cancer rehab.

Late last month Lil Boosie revealed his cancer diagnosis via Instagram. At the time, Boosie’s team wasn’t happy about him revealing that he had cancer.
