Hot 97 radio personality Ebro Darden and producer Mike WiLL Made-It exchanged tweets last night (December 10), following comments Ebro made about Atlanta duo Rae Sremmurd not writing their own lyrics.
“They didn’t write that shit. Any of it. Maybe some of it. Mike WiLL-Made It—you know that his name is Mike WiLL-Made It? He made that album. They’re Kriss Kross. It was a fabricated thing that we all liked,” Ebro said, according to Complex.
In response to Ebro’s claims that he possibly assisted in writing Sremmurd’s lyrical content, Mike WiLL stated that “we never wrote sremm’s raps.”

“if Sremm didn’t write they raps who tf did…….. I’m waiting…………………………………..And squad makes beats, we never wrote sremm’s raps tf u talking about,” Mike WiLL wrote in two separate replies to Ebro.
Mike WiLL later doted on the group in his tweets, calling them gamechangers.
“Bring something new to the game, streets gone respect it and gone fuck with it, it’s simple… Sremm album is a gamechanger (period),” the producer said.
