Will Smith has continued to tease fans with the possibility of new music following the release of his remix to Bomba Estéreo’s “Fiesta,” which acted as Smith’s first musical offering in over a decade.

However, during a recently published interview with Billboard, Smith admits that he’s undecided whether his new music will be released in the form of an album, as he likens the modern-day music culture to ADHD.

“I have a bunch of songs,” Will Smith says. “I don’t know if I’ll do an album. I‘m looking for a really clever and creative way to release the music.

Continuing, Smith says that he’s been watching how his two teenage children, Willow and Jaden, are rolling out their music for potential ideas.

“I’ve been watching my kids, and they don’t do albums anymore,” he says. “Just the way that people consume music is really different than go out and buy 12 songs, 14 songs, and listen all the way through in one setting. It’s much more ADHD — unless you’re Adele.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Will Smith spoke on his forthcoming tour with DJ Jazzy Jeff, which he said in October was “pretty certain” to happen.

“I’m just getting to the point that there are things I love to do and I just want to go and I want to do it,” Will Smith says. “There’s nothing that compares to being onstage with a hit record. Those first couple of seconds when people recognize the song and it’s the one they’ve been waiting for, there’s nothing in entertainment that matches that feeling. So I’m really looking forward to getting out there this summer and performing.”
