J. Cole rhymes about two potential projects on “Black Friday,” his reworking of Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” that was released yesterday (November 27), on Black Friday.

“When you and K. Dot shit dropping?” J. Cole raps on the track. “Bitch never / They can’t handle two Black niggas this cleva / But this February, bet shit get scary / When I fuck around and drop.”

Then a beep is heard, ending the cut.

The North Carolina rapper and the TDE rapper have been rumored to have a joint project in the works, but J. Cole’s “Black Friday” lyrics appear to quell that notion.
