The digital deluxe version of PRhyme’s self-titled debut album is set for a December 11 release, according to a press release. The project is available for pre-order now.
The new version of the eponymous album includes appearances from Black Thought and Logic on “Mode” Beast Version. MF Doom and Phonte guest on “Highs And Lows.”
Released in December 2014, PRhyme is the collaborative album from Royce Da 5’9” and DJ Premier. It was named HipHopDX’s 2014 Album Of The Year.
In September 2014, Royce Da 5’9” explained the mindset the pair employed while making the project.
“I want people to appreciate the fact that we didn’t compromise in lieu of the environment,” the Detroit rapper said at the time. “In order to try to change the way that people digest music, we had to take a leap of faith. The bar has to be high for this album to be another body of work and another chapter for both of our lives.”

I have a feeling it will be digital first and then the CD will follow early next year. Similar to what Mello Music did with the Diamond District’s March On Washington Redux.
