Pusha T will release his Darkest Before Dawn album December 18, according to Noisey.

“I’ve been recording so much—I didn’t want to break up that body of work,” the Virginia Beach, Virginia rapper says in reference to his long-delayed King Push album. “I feel like I had the producers doing things that they weren’t usually known for, a little out of their wheelhouse. I wanted to give the fans that body of work. That’s the music I love, and that’s the music that my fans love from me. Instead of having those moments throughout King Push, let’s just separate the game.”

Darkest Before Dawn producers include Kanye West, Puff Daddy, Timbaland, Q-Tip, Baauer, and Nashiem Myrick, the Noisey story says.

Earlier this month, Pusha T was announced as G.O.O.D. Music President, a title he says won’t impact his own work.

“Music isn’t a pressure thing for me,” he said at the time. “It never has been. I’ve never been solely dependent on [my music], so I’ve always had the luxury of taking my time and really putting things together. So when I drop, it’s always an event.”
