This week, the oft-discussed Slim Jesus released the music video for his single “She Just Wanna.” Elsewhere, Krayzie Bone debuted the first single off his highly anticipated album, Chasing The Devil, exclusively on HipHopDX and lastly, battle rapper Dizaster attacked a FilmOn employee’s car after the media outlet stirred controversy in the battle world after claiming that they were involved with Diz’ “Virus” event.

Dizaster Punches FilmOn Employee’s Car Over Involvement With Battle Rap Event

Los Angeles-based battle rapper Dizaster attacked a car of an employee who works for FilmOn, a Beverly Hills-based media outlet, after the organization began interfering with his “Virus” battle rap event on October 30.

On the day of the event, BattleRap.com reports that FilmOn began tweeting about their involvement with the card, which left Dizaster, the host, answering questions from both the emcees set to perform as well as fans. FilmOn were the driving force behind last December’s “Ether” card, featuring Cassidy vs. Dizaster, which was later heavily criticized from the battle rap community for both poor quality recording and alleged non-payment to battlers.

During the footage captured of Dizaster attacking the car, the L.A. lyricist can be seen punching the wing mirror before the driver quickly sped off.

In Thursday’s DX Daily, FilmOn’s Grant Zimmerman gave additional details into what happened. He shows a video of the employee moments later confronting Dizaster in an office. The scene was then broken up by FilmOn owner Alki David and others.
