Justina Valentine recently released the video and track for her collaborative “Candyland” track with Fetty Wap and now she’s revealed some of the details about how it all came together.

Recently sitting down HipHopDX Features Writer Andre Grant, the singer/songwriter detailed meeting the New Jersey rap singer and him recording his verse for their cut.

“Basically I’ve been recording my new album, tentatively named Scarlett Letter, and as I was putting the records together I knew I wanted to get Fetty on something and me and him had spoken about doing a record and stuff,” she said via a segment of today’s (October 26) DX Daily. “I had sent him these two records, ‘Candyland’ being one of them… And he was in the studio a couple weeks or a month later and they were just talking about artists in the area and they brought up my name.”
