There are various changes to the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart this week with Drake landing at #1 for his single “Hotline Bling.” Elsewhere, Fetty Wap’s “RGF Island” slipped from #9 to #15 and lastly, Tinashe’s new single with Chris Brown, titled “Player,” debuted at #11.
Drake Takes Top Spot With “Hotline Bling”
A 19% increase in sales meant Drake’s “Hotline Bling” landed at #1 this week. The single sold 121,049 units during the seven days leading to October 8, taking the cut’s total sales since its official release to 685,234 units.

The Weeknd Slips To #2
As a result of Drake’s increase in sales, as well as a 6% decrease for himself, The Weeknd slipped to #2 this week for his single “The Hills.” The cut sold 98,006 units during the seven days leading to October 8.
Macklemore Jumps To #3
A slight 2% increase in sales meant Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Downtown” landed at #3 this week. The single sold 69,733 units during the seven days leading to October 8, taking its total sales since official release to 465,220.
