TIP’s wife, Tiny, defended the Atlanta rapper after he made comments about women presidents that some deemed misogynistic.
“I’m not disrespected ’cause I know him,” she says to TMZ.
TIP said in a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid that he would not vote for a woman for president, saying that women are too emotional with their decision-making.
“I sure would hate to just set off a nuke,” TIP said. Tiny’s response to the comment: “He might’ve been thinking about me at the time.”

When asked if he is sexist, Tiny says to TMZ, “sometimes.” She then explains what she means.
“He’s the old ‘man take care of woman’ chivalry-type thing,” she says. “He just wants to be the man and take care of everything and wants the woman to be a woman and be treated like a princess.”
She says that she doesn’t always agree with her husband’s point of view.
“I also think a woman has the right to do just as much as a man,” Tiny says.
