Kendrick Lamar has added four dates to his “Kunta Groove Sessions” Tour.
The Compton, California rapper announced stops in New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia and Cleveland. Jay Rock will be opening the shows.

Kendrick Lamar has announced his forthcoming tour schedule, including some of the dates for the “1st Annual Kunta’s Groove Sessions,” Pitchfork reports.
The tour is scheduled to go to nine cities. Lamar is scheduled to start the tour by performing cuts from To Pimp a Butterfly at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony. Fellow Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Jay Rock will perform at four of the stops. The Wesley Theory, Lamar’s back-up band, will also be at the “Kunta’s Groove Sessions” shows.

Kendrick Lamar announced his “1st Annual Kunta’s Groove Sessions” tour on Instagram today (October 5).
“8 cities. 8 nights, 8 intimate shows,” the Compton, California rapper wrote as the caption on his Instagram post.
The tour’s flyer says that the performances will feature music, dance, performances and more.
Kendrick Lamar released his To Pimp A Butterfly album in March 2015. It features the single “King Kunta.”
