Slaughterhouse is one of the few Hip Hop collectives that’ve been able to retain their quality over the years.

Recently sitting down with AllHipHop, the collective talked about their forthcoming album and how much they’ve grown since they started.

“I’ve always been a fan of artists who like if you follow them, you can kind of grow with them and this album is indicative of where we are today and obviously that’s different from where we were last album,” Royce Da 5’9 said when asked about why their next album will be different from previous ones. “I think you’ll just be able to hear the growth. You might like something I said two years ago better than something I said today but you might feel it more because you know it’s me.”

Slaughterhouse also spoke about how close they are to finished with their next LP and the influence of Just Blaze’s work behind the boards.

“The new album is great. It’s about 85% done being mixed,” Royce confirmed. “The whole album is finished. Just Blaze is mixing right now. When he’s done with it, it’s going to be the greatest shit you ever heard… It’s real dope how he was able to pull everything together.”
