The first edition of NME‘s print publication relaunch will feature Rihanna on the cover. The issue comes out tomorrow (September 18) and will be distributed at various public transportation stations, record stores and universities.
The cover story asks the pop star about her music and life in the public eye. She explains the fan excitement surrounding her next album, R8.

“No matter what I post online, within three comments there’s somebody saying, ‘Where is R8?’” she says. “I could post anything. Nothing else matters. They don’t care about anything but that. But it makes me excited, because I can’t wait to give them something great.”

The United Kingdom music magazine was launched in 1952 and started its website in 1996. After falling circulation numbers, the company decided to create the free print publication.
