Gangsta Boo is on the heels of releasing her latest project, Candy, Diamonds & Pills and has been making a few press runs in order to promote it.
Recently sitting down with HipHopDX News Editor Soren Baker, the Memphis native and former Three 6 Mafia member compared working with Juicy J and DJ Paul to Drumma Boy and Beatking.
“I don’t compare as far as that because like Paul and Juicy making my beats was so many years ago and then after that, in 2002 I ended up working with Drumma Boy,” she said via a segment of today’s (September 14) DX Daily. “I didn’t really think nothing of it. I think it was dope that I had such great chemistry with a guy I never met that was so in tuned with my sound and the [Three 6] Mafia sound that lives in us and a lot of other Three 6 Mafia babies.”
Gangsta Boo also talked about her forthcoming effort and says she’s very proud of what she’s about to put out.
