Hamilton, Ohio rapper Slim Jesus may have gained himself a supporter in the music industry. Earlier this month, Lil Bibby posted Slim Jesus’ “Drill Time” video on Twitter, and it now appears that the Windy City wordsmith has come to Slim’s defense.

According to HotNewHipHop.com, following the release of rapper Ben Sommers’ Slim Jesus diss track, “Shots At Slim,” Bibby came to the “Drill Time” rapper’s defense.

In a tweet that has since been deleted, Lil Bibby asked, “What they on wit you Slim?” He also tagged Slim Jesus in his post and included a link to Sommers’ “Shots At Slim” record.

After deleting that tweet, Bibby sent the following message on Twitter: “Why they dissing my youngin.” Bibby previously referred to Slim Jesus as “#MyLilOne” on Twitter.

Although “Drill Time” was released less than a month ago, the song has gained swift viral fame.

On the song, which has received over four million views on YouTube as of today (September 14), Slim Jesus raps: “Now it’s back to the trap with a twenty sack / Rolling up a swisher of that straight gas / Got a fifty-clip sticking out the MAC / So that’s fifty shots for your goofy ass.”
