After the Instagram account for The Shade Room posted screen captures of The Game liking several pictures of Chris Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran on Instagram, Game and Chris Brown’s friend Wackstar engaged in a war of words on the social networking site.

In the comments section for The Shade Room’s screen captures, Brown left the following comment: “Someone must have something they need to promote. It’s sad people need gimmicks to maintain fame. All pub is good pub I guess.”

Wackstar also posted that he liked one of Brown’s songs.

The Game caught wind of Wackstar’s subliminal comments and left several messages of his own in return.

“Keep throwing subliminals nigga…We both know it’s ME vs. YOU who gone come out on top punk…I still owe you one for that shit you pulled…We both know yo time coming blood,” The Game wrote in the comments section to an Instagram upload.

The Los Angeles, California rapper also threatened to knock Wackstar out the next time he sees him.

Despite The Game’s and Wackstar’s recent feud on social media, The Game and Chris Brown have worked together on several occasions.

Last year, Brown was featured on The Game’s Blood Moon: Year Of The Wolf track “Fuck Yo Feelings.” And in 2012, The Game spoke on possibly collaborating with Brown, who he referred to as his “little brother,” on a joint project.

“Who knows what the future holds, but I’m not opposed to doing anything like that. I have a lot of respect and a lot of love for his craft and what he does,” The Game said during an interview with CBS Local in 2012. “That’s my little brother. I’ma hold him down throughout the duration of my life. As long as I’m here, Chris Brown is going to be OK.”
