Eminem’s “I’m Back” Lyrics Lead To Teenager’s Arrest

A teenager was arrested in Fresno, California earlier this week after an Instagram post he’d uploaded containing Eminem lyrics caught the attention of school officials.

Reports state that the 15-year-old, who was arrested for terroristic threats this past Monday (August 31), posted lyrics to Eminem’s “I’m Back,” which references the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado that left 15 people dead.

“I take seven kids from Columbine, stand ’em all in a line, add an AK-47, a revolver, a nine, a MAC-11 and it oughtta solve the problem of mine” the post read. “And that’s a whole school of bullies shot up all at one time. I’m just like Shady and just as crazy as the world was over this whole Y2K thing.”

San Joaquin Memorial High School, the school where the suspect attends, and St. Anthony’s Catholic School, where the student previously attended, cancelled classes on September 1 in light of the reported threat.

The teenager is currently in juvenile detention.

Kevin Gates Charged With Battery After Kicking Fan In Chest; Gates Responds

Kevin Gates has reportedly been charged with simple battery after allegedly kicking a fan in the chest during a concert in Lakeland, Florida last weekend.

The Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper later responded to the purported incident in the form of a song entitled “The Truth,” which was posted to WorldStarHipHop.

“Man in the mirror, you way outta order / Go to jail, who gonna look out for your daughter? / All in the news ’bout what happened in Florida / Posted on WorldStar on iPhone recorders / She grabbed my dick over and acted, I’m sorry / Two or three times I had already warned her / Edit that part out, I don’t like to argue,” he raps in the opening bars of the song.

Dr. Dre’s Son Curtis Young Details Meeting His Father

Curtis Young, the son of Dr. Dre, didn’t find out who his father was until he was 12-years-old. After his mother and her then-boyfriend separated when he was 15, Curtis began to pursue meeting his father. Five years later, when he was 20, Curtis met the rapper-producer for the first time.

“I started trying to meet him and hiring lawyers, whatever I could do,” Curtis Young said in a recent interview with XXL. “It was rough. It was really hard to finally get the DNA test and meet him.”

Young got in contact with one of Dr. Dre’s lawyers and that’s how he was finally able to confirm Dr. Dre’s paternity.

“You’re going through all this and you’re trying to find yourself, that’s a whole different period I went through,” he says. “I was like, ‘I just want to be just like him. I’m going to wear khakis and I’m going to be a gangster.’ It just really wasn’t me. I grew up in Compton, not that I’m no punk or anything, but I never had that in me. Everybody knew me and I was cool. I was the ladies man. Something that I had to grow into was just being Curtis Young. Curtis Young is a grown and sexy vibe, just talking about the life stories that I’ve been through. I had it rough. It’s not your average story.”
