French Montana took to Instagram yesterday to blast the 50 Cent-endorsed liquor brand EFFEN vodka.
French’s comments came just hours after he said that he “loved” the vodka brand, which was a surprise to many as his label boss Puff Daddy owns a stake in Cîroc, a direct competitor.
“Shout out to EFFEN vodka,” French Montana said in the first clip, which was uploaded by DJ SpinKing. “That shit kind of watered down, but I love it.”

Just hours later, French uploaded a video to Instagram blasting 50 Cent and EFFEN.
“This is how I feel about your bullshit,” French Montana says. “What the fuck is this?”
The rapper can then be seen throwing multiple bottles of EFFEN into the garbage.

A few hours later, 50 Cent took to his Instagram account to respond to French Montana’s video. The G-Unit frontman claims that French uploaded the video per the request of Puff Daddy.
“Yo, I just seen a clip of French Montana throwing bottles of EFFEN in the garbage,” 50 Cent says. “You know Puffy called him like, ‘You said you fucking like that shit? You fucking bitch, you want your record out don’t you? You fucking dummy. You fucking playing? They fucking putting us out of business you fucking asshole. You better do something!’”
