Yasiin Bey posted a video on YouTube challenging any rapper to a battle.
“Me, Black Thought and King Los versus anybody,” Yasiin Bey says in a video. “Red Bull Music Academy put a mill on that and we’ll give our winnings to charity and take your money, too. Tired of these dudes pretending like they dope.”
The artist formerly known as Mos Def was inspired by the recent exchange of diss tracks between Drake and Meek Mill.
“You all right, but relax,” Bey says in the video. ” We don’t need to make no back and forth corny records about it, we can put it on its feet for the world to see… We’ll battle anyone I don’t care who you tell. Let’s go for any set, any time. Champion sound, for real. The word is out, let’s go.”

Before long, Lupe Fiasco accepted the challenge via social media.
“Dear Yasiin Bey, whenever, wherever, whoever…sincerely Lupe Fiasco,” he says on Instagram.
Lupe Fiasco then threw some bars Yasiin’s way.
“If Mos wanna battle, he can get a whiff of the wrath,” Lupe Fiasco writes on Instagram. “And I’m behind all these bars don’t need to tap Miller for some genuine drafts.”

The line brings up Drake’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller in a pun referencing a popular beer.
Yasiin Bey made headlines earlier this week after doing a stand-up comedy set that references the Drake and Meek Mill feud.
“The male ego can be a very boring place,” Yasiin Bey says during his set. “I feel bad for Nicki Minaj. Damn she’s in the middle of these two rap niggas…I hope she call both of them and curse them out, cuz secretly she’s a better rapper than both of them.”
