A suspect has been arrested in the shooting that occurred after the New Jersey stop of the “2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour,” Associated Press reports.

Quran Powell was apprehended yesterday (August 5) about 30 miles from the concert venue, PNC Bank Arts Center.

The 27-year-old faces attempted homicide and weapons charges.

Powell is being held in jail on $750,000 bond.

According to Complex.com, the “J. Cole: Forest Hills Drive Tour” stop in Holmdel, New Jersey yesterday (August 3) reportedly ended with shots being fired in the parking lot of the concert venue, the PNC Arts Center.

“Authorities rushed to the scene after witnesses reportedly called about a shooting outside of J.Cole’s New Jersey tour stop tonight. The shooting allegedly happened in the parking lot of the PNC Banks Arts Center,” Complex.com reports.

News of the alleged shooting also came through several sources on Twitter.

The official Twitter account for the New Jersey Fire Alert sent out several tweets about the shooting. In one tweet, they reported that New Jersey State Police confirmed at least two people were shot.

“PNC BANKS ART CENTER SHOOTING U/D: 2 helicopters requested to the scene to transport 2 injured. Perp outstanding,” the New Jersey Fire Alert tweeted yesterday.

The “J. Cole: Forest Hills Drive Tour,” which also features Big Sean and YG, is scheduled to stop in New York City tonight (August 4).

J. Cole has not publicly addressed the shooting.
