Christian Rich has produced for some of the biggest names in Hip Hop, among other musical genres and has experienced a lot of big placements as of late, including one with Vince Staples.
The producer duo stopped by HipHopDX’s Headquarters and spoke with Features Editor Andre Grant about their forthcoming debut album, FW14, which drops on August 21.
“The album, we started recording a year ago then really finished it off after a trip to Mexico, Mexico got a little wild so we stopped drinking for like three months so we could finish the album,” Kehinde said via a segment of today’s (July 28) DX Daily. “The first song we actually produced was actually a song called ‘Compromise’ featuring GoldLink and then the second song we did was with Jack Davey and from there we started building everything and we started piecing together and did the interludes.”
Christian Rich also talked about collaborating with artists to put out music amidst the Hip Hop world’s discussion of ghostwriting, etc.
