Meek Mill seems to have responded to the release of Drake’s “Charged Up,” which was posted today (July 25).
“Baby lotion soft,” Meek Mill wrote on Twitter today. “I can tell he wrote that 1 tho.”
On Tuesday (July 22), the Philadelphia rapper said that Drake did not craft his own rhymes.

Drake seemingly responded Meek Mill and Funkmaster Flex’s disses of him with “Charged Up.”
“All ya’ll stare in my face in hopes you could be the replacement,” Drake raps on the song, which posted on DJ SabSad’s Soundcloud page today (July 25). “[Niggas] is snitchin’ on us without no interrogation / I stay silent ‘cause we at war and I’m very patient.”
On Tuesday (July 22), Meek Mill claimed that Drake didn’t write his lyrics. Drake appears to respond to Meek’s accusation that he does not write his own material and, thus, that is music is not authentic.

“I’m honored that you think this is staged,” Drake raps. “I’m flattered, man / In fact, I’m amazed / The perfect start to the summer, man this [shit] is a doozy.”
The above passage could also be a retort to Funkmaster Flex, who on Wednesday (July 22) released a reference track of Drake’s “10 Bands” song and who yesterday (July 24) said that great artists don’t use reference tracks.
“Must I remind you that Jimmy got $20 million on it,” Drake raps on “Charged Up,” a reference to his deal with Jimmy Iovine’s Apple Music service. “Need DJ Clue? to drop a bomb on it.”
During his broadcasts on New York radio station Hot 97, Funkmaster Flex “drops a bomb” on material he endorses. DJ Clue? works for Hot 97 rival Power 105.1.

Elsewhere in the song, Drake appears to target Meek Mill specifically, making note of his sales history.
“I see you [niggas] have trouble going gold,” Drake raps on “Charged Up.” “Turning into some so-and-sos that no one knows / Or so it go / Come live out all your dreams out at OVO.”
Drake also seems to refer to Meek Mill’s relationship with Nicki Minaj.
“No woman ever had me star struck,” Drake raps. “Or was able to tell me to get my bars up.”
