Philly lyricist Meek Mill took aim at fellow artist Drake as part of a Twitter rant that appeared to come out of nowhere. According to the Maybach Music Group rapper, Drake “don’t write his own raps.”
He went on to reveal that if he had known that Drake didn’t write his own raps, he would have omitted him from his new album, Dreams Worth More Than Money. Drake appears on the newly-released Dreams Worth More Than Money track, “R.I.C.O.”
“Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out…He ain’t even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album….. I don’t trick my fans! Lol,” Meek Mill said in two different tweets sent yesterday (July 21).
In addition to Drake, Meek also mentioned Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole during his rant. He applauded both rappers for being able to rap, but did add that the two are “in different lanes” than him.

Meek went on to criticize the rest of the rap game for being afraid to tell the truth about those who don’t write their own raps.
“The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can’t wait tok these guys and sit back and act like they don’t know,” he said via Twitter.
