Performing for 40,000 fans at Comerica Park…As Eminem ended his Anger Management Tour 3 with support from 50 Cent, G-Unit, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Hush, Trick Trick, Stat Quo, D-12, Olivia, Nate Dogg and Obie Trice at Comerica Park Friday night.
The concert was packed from it’s 7pm doors open time to the end…the set was ripped by all who performed but most notably of course was 50 Cent…when he was told at 9:30 that his time was up he states “I’m about to get charged about $2,000 a minute for being out here…but, I want to say something…if you with G-Unit, go by our shit. If you with Game…you with ‘Gee-You-Not’…matter fact play my shit!”
Alchemist then released the platter and “Hate It Or Love It” began playing where 50 introduced a new begininng 16 bars to the much acclaimed cut which 50 has stated belonged to him from pen to paper.

After one of the most entertaining opening features from Hip Hop platinum artists the moment of truth arrived as the stadium lights faded and a montage of everything Eminem began to flash across the giant stage screens…cover photos of Mr.Mathers from magazines, school shots, videos to pics of his daughter Hallie…leading up to an ominious “earlier in the day” video where an antsy Eminem is backstage at Comerica preparing for his show by writing his suicide note and loading a 9mm…
Dressed in his MTV “White America” conservative blue suit and tie Eminem walks to the stage…it’s unknown whether the “nine” is still in his possession as the camera follwos him to the “live” stage…from then on Comerica belonged to it’s most “loved and hated on” native son.
It’s amazing how when you leave home you REALLY can’t return to it…I noticed that as G-Unit and 50 took the stage the audience became energized…but, when Em took the mike it became crazy…but, as Marshall attempted to engage in some pre-arranged banter with Proof regarding his lack of coverage in the tabloids a large contingent of what one could call…a group of caucasion rowdies began chanting “Bullshit, Bullshit”…prompting Em to show them his lily white ass.

The event was love for Detroit from Eminem…not the other way around…though Obie Trcie could have been a bit more discreet and parental when bringing his 3 kids out on stage as the profanity roared from his month and Nate Dogg fired up a blunt…Anger Management has been a much anticipated concert for the past 3 years….if you haven’t checked it out…pick up the DVD…but, being there is beyond surreal…
