Nearly one year after Bronx, New York rapper Remy Ma was released from prison, the musician has made a major announcement involving the next move in her career. Remy appeared on last night’s (July 6) episode of “Love & Hip Hop After Party Live” and revealed that she’ll be joining the cast of “Love & Hip Hop: New York” next season.

While appearing on the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” after show, Remy Ma received advice from current cast member, Jessica Dime.

“Only advice I would give is just keep being you, baby. Bring the real to it. Bring your story. The real. How you feel about certain situations. Don’t hold back,” Jessica Dime said while offering advice to Remy Ma.

With Remy Ma slated to appear on the next season of “Love & Hip: New York,” it’s likely that her husband and fellow rapper, Papoose will also make an appearance on the reality show.

Past rappers who have appeared on “Love & Hip Hop: New York” include Joe Budden, Saigon, Jim Jones, and Consequence.

It’s currently unclear when the next season of “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” which will serve as the series’ sixth season, will air.
