Kurupt says that Suge Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records, “changed his life.”

“Yeah, we cool, real cool,” the rapper said when asked about his current relationship with Knight during an interview with VladTV. “I ain’t got no problem with the old man. Suge [Knight] changed my life.”

Later in the conversation, Kurupt recalled meeting Crooked I for the first time when the West Coast lyricist first became part of Death Row Records.

Kurupt also reminisced on the time when he visited New York City’s Tunnel nightclub where he claims he regularly “served” emcees.

“[I] was at the Tunnel,” he says. “They wanted to see Kurupt, the entire crowd, and I served everybody one by one… I was the real rapper. Back then everybody would love to serve a real rapper. I was the Antichrist of the mic; I served emcees for a living.”
