Big Boi, Skyzoo, and Kevin Gates are among the artists who have reacted publicly to video released over the weekend, which shows a white police officer in McKinney, Texas pulling a gun on a group of teenagers following an incident at a pool party.

A number of rappers shared footage of the video on social media and offered their own commentary.

“I pray my daughter never has to go through this!!! Somebody gone die!!!!,” Kevin Gates wrote after posting a clip of the video on Instagram.

In addition to pulling a gun on the teenagers, the police officer used his knees to subdue a 14-year-old girl he pulled to the ground.

In his commentary, former Little Brother member Big Pooh called out the police officers who choose not to intervene in situations like the one in McKinney.

“no respect for cops who allow/watch cops pull fuck shit and say nothing. you are an accomplice at that point and should be prosecuted too,” Big Pooh wrote in a tweet sent yesterday (June 7).
