With Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V album still without a release date, Atlanta, Georgia rapper Young Thug revealed that he’s tempted to release his own Tha Carter V project if the delay continues.
Thugger, who just released his Barter 6 album on iTunes, spoke on possible plans for his own Tha Carter V, during a newly-published interview with NDO Radio. He also revealed that he’ll likely release one more mixtape before his studio album.
“I’ll drop probably one more mixtape before my album,” Young Thug said. “The album is [on] iTunes. I’mma drop one more mixtape. I’ll probably name it Tha Carter V cause the original Carter V still ain’t came out yet. I don’t know what the fuck they doing. They slow-poking. So I’mma put that mothafucka out for him.”
In regards to his management, Thug confirmed that he is not signed to Rich Gang Management, and instead manages himself and is signed to Atlantic Records.
