Bronx, New York rapper French Montana recently denounced those speaking negatively about the death of friend and fellow artist, Lionel “Chinx” Pickens. French took to his Instagram account this week “to address the negativity” and “hateful speech” surrounding Chinx’s death.
He also asked for people to keep any less than positive comments to themselves.
In the caption to a picture of himself and Chinx, which was uploaded to Instagram, French left the following message:
“I hate having to address the negativity during this time of grief. It is irrelevant. I pray that everyone would consider that real people lost a real man, friend, brother, father before spreading hateful speech. His funeral is taken care of.
