The independent Hip Hop duo, Caustic Dames (Mimi Johnson aka Puss n Boots and Cinceria Rainer aka Baby Spliph), is set to perform at the Feed the Awareness Concert series set to take place at in Atlanta on July 20. The monthly concert series presented by Safehouse Outreach is organized in effort to fight hunger in and throughout the Atlanta community.
“I’m inspired to help the community as much as possible through entertainment,” Johnson said in a statement. “ I’ve noticed a lot of slacking when it comes to the homeless and hungry and they need our help.”
The Caustic Dames made an imprint on the Hip Hop scene with their debut album, Estrogen Glitta, which went gold in Spain, Japan and Italy. Their sophomore album, Estrogen 323 was released earlier this month.
