RJD2 paired up with STS to drop a self-titled STS & RJD2 album this week.

RJD2 released the project through his own label, Electrical Connections. He did all of the production, minus the string and horn parts.

“Heavily melodic and still able to rattle a trunk, this debut album takes nods from the Impressions to Ludacris to Wu-Tang, all the while holding originality, razor sharp lyricism and a deep pocket in the highest regard,” according to a press release.

RJD2 produced the Mad Men theme, and his 2013 project, More Is Than Isn’t, featured Phonte, Blueprint and STS.

STS (Sugar Tongue Slim) is an Atlanta to Philadelphia transplant. He pressed a three-track We Can Talk Politics & World Affairs EP last year.

STS & RJD2 is available for purchase on iTunes.
