While discussing his new Magnises Black Card, Ja Rule briefly talked politics and current events, during his appearance on Fox News this week.

In regards to Hillary Clinton recently putting in her bid for the 2016 presidency, Ja Rule declared that he “would vote Hillary.”

“I like Hillary. But, you know, it’s crazy because—I also think Jeb is a good candidate as well,” Ja Rule said. “But, you know, I don’t—I’m a Democrat, so yeah, so I would vote Hillary.”

The Queens, New York rapper later offered his thoughts on the recent happenings in Baltimore, Maryland, stating that a leader is needed, and until one is found, “marching peacefully” is the best way to get a point across.

“I think it’s a very sad situation what’s going on in Baltimore,” he said. “It’s not just Baltimore. I think it’s going on throughout the country. And with what’s going on in our urban communities with the police, I think it just needs to—Somebody needs to be the peacemaker. To bring it all together. To make things better on that front. And I don’t know who’s the guy to do it. I don’t know who’s gonna step up and be our leader…But as long as we keep marching peacefully, I think that’s the best way for us to get our point across.”
