Young Buck is preparing for the release of his Behind The Wall book, according to a press release.

The book from the Nashville, Tennessee rapper is about a celebrity’s life in prison and is based on a true story.

While serving time on weapons charges in federal prison in 2012, Young Buck reevaluated the decisions that landed him behind bars by facing his fears and acknowledging his past failures so he could begin to craft a plan that would help to return to music prominence.

Buck says he wants his book to serve as a redemption story, one of a preeminent rapper who fell off course and was able to learn from his mistakes.

Behind The Wall is set to be published “soon” by Resource Printing, according to the press release.

In January, Young Buck discussed working as a solo artist and as a member of G-Unit.

“Me as an artist, I’m doing what I gotta do, and as a team, I’m amongst a team that been doing what we have to do,” Buck said at the time. “We not new to this shit, man. This shit is just our following up and showing the guys that’s doing it now how this shit is really supposed to be done.”
