Cash Money Records CEO Bryan “Baby” Williams, a.k.a. “Birdman,” returns to center stage with his second solo effort for Cash Money/Universal Records titled Fast Money. Due in stores June 21st, the follow-up to 2002’s debut solo album finds Baby trying to regain the success he claimed 3 years ago.
Fast Money featured artists such as Lil Wayne (“Shyne On” and “Neck of the Wood”), Bun B (“Ghetto Life”), Six Shot (“We Got That”), and Cash Money starlet Lil’ Mo (“Solid Chick”). Mannie Fresh also makes an appearance on the album in his trademark production. The duo of Birdman and Fresh make up the multi-platinum selling Big Tymers, appearing on “We Getting It On” which also showcases Cash Money songstress Ta.
Despite all the solo work, the Birdman has still found time to cultivate the label’s younger talent, most notably as executive producer on Teena Marie‘s La Do
