The Hip Hop and R&B singles chart finally has a new #1 and the best seller again belongs to Rihanna. The singer’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” single replaces her own “FourFiveSeconds” at #1 while The Weeknd’s “Earned It” is steady at #2.
Lower down the list Iggy Azalea’s newly promoted single jumped from #63 to #8 and Omarion’sChris Brown and Jhene Aiko-featuring single cracks into the Top 10 while Fetty Wap has his first Gold record with “Trap Queen.”
Rihanna Has A New #1
After holding down the top spot for more than two months with “FourFiveSeconds,” Rihanna’s new solo single has taken over #1. “Bitch Better Have My Money” quickly shot up the singles chart with more than 108,000 singles sold after just one week of availability.

Despite the success, Rihanna is facing accusations that the song’s lyrics were “jacked” from Houston-based artist Just Brittany’s track “Betta Have My Money.”
The Weeknd’s “Earned It” Goes Platinum
Three and a half months into its stay on the chart The Weeknd’s “Earned It” finally has enough sales to be certified platinum. The 50 Shades Of Grey original moved 106,835 units over the last week, an impressive four percent increase from last week’s sales. The track has now sold a total of 1,057,419 digital units.
“FourFiveSeconds” Drops To #3
Suffering an eleven percent drop in sales, “FourFiveSeconds” fell from #1 to #3 most recently after putting up just over 100,000 sales in the last week. The Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney collab has now been on the charts for nearly three months, most of that time spent at #1.
