According to Hits Daily Double, Wale’s The Album About Nothing will serve as the standout this week with an estimated 85,000 – 90,000 units sold. The number places the D.C. rapper above albums from both Ludacris and Kendrick Lamar.
The Album About Nothing serves as Wale’s fourth studio album and includes guest appearances from J. Cole, SZA, Usher, and Stokley Williams.
Wale recently spoke with HipHopDX about putting his “best foot forward” with his latest studio release.
“I always put my best foot forward,” Wale said. “I won’t put it out until I know it’s better than the last…It’s always a pleasure when your album drop and it’s being received as well as it is.”

Behind Wale, with an estimated 55,000 – 60,000 units sold is Atlanta, Georgia rapper Ludacris with his long-awaited, ninth studio album, Ludaversal.
The album received a 3-star rating from HipHopDX and was described as being “a novel and welcome addition to” the rapper’s catalog.
And after moving between 300,000 and 325,000 units of To Pimp A Butterfly last week, Kendrick Lamar is also set to sell between 55,000 to 60,000 units this week.
