Masta Ace says that the forthcoming eMC The Tonite Show album will affect future Rap releases.
“This album The Tonite Show is gonna set a new bar for what great, cohesive group albums should sound like,” Masta Ace says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX of his forthcoming group project with Stricklin and Wordsworth. “A lot of our peers are gonna be forced to step their game up. This is more than rappity rap.”
eMC’s The Tonite Show is slated for a May 5 release. The project is scheduled to feature B Real on “Stoopid,” Xzibit on “Numbers” and Sadat X on “Moopies.” Skits are accented by Rosie Perez, Tony Rock and Russell Peters.
Penalty Entertainment, which released the group’s The Turning Point EP in 2014, is also set to release The Tonite Show.
“Working with these three very talented MCs reminds me why I got into Hip Hop in the first place,” Penalty Entertainment President and CEO Neil Levine says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX.
