Earlier this week, Trina signed with Penalty Entertainment, home to eMC and others. The Miami rapper is scheduled to release her sixth album later this year, a project featuring the single “The Real One” with Rico Love and released in conjunction with her own Rockstarr Music Group.

Trina broke through nationally through her appearance on Trick Daddy’s hit 1998 single “Nann N**ga.” She launched her solo career with the release of her 2000 album, Da Baddest B***h, which was certified gold. Her 2005 single “Here We Go” featuring Kelly Roland was also certified gold.
Trina’s track record made her an appealing part of the reemergence of Penalty Entertainment, which has released projects from Capone-N-Noreaga, Noreaga and eMC, among others.
