“The 22 Best Roc-A-Fella Artists, In Order,” is a new list curated by HipHopWired that ranks the 22 best artists signed to Jay Z’s iconic label over the years.

“At their apex, Roc-a-fella was the Army, the Navy, the Coast Guard and any other force you can think of,” the publication says. “Jay Z led the pack, but he wasn’t the only talented artist on the roster that helped make the label a powerhouse in the rap game.”

Included on the list is N.O.R.E who comes in at #14, M.O.P. at #12 and Jadakiss at #5.

Towards the top of the list, Roc-A-Fella’s perhaps better known artists get a mention. At #4 lands Memphis Bleek who has released numerous albums under Jay Z’s imprint, including his debut project, Coming Of Age.

Beanie Sigel chimes in at #3 while Cam’ron lands at #2, the latter releasing his highly touted third studio album Come Home With Me under Roc-A-Fella.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kanye West claims the #1 spot. “Yeezy chose to roll with Jay Z instead of Dame Dash. Smart move,” the article says.
