In honor of his 47-city “These Days…” tour, Ab-Soul released a freestyle fittingly titled “47 Bars” late last week. Accompanying the tweet that saw the TDE rapper release the cut, were some words explaining the consequences of the song’s release.

“I might get dropped from the label for this 1, but fuck it lol…,” Ab-Soul tweeted last Saturday (February 28).

The freestyle, produced by Alchemist, sees Soulo drop some choice words regarding the recent wave of males wearing dresses, among other points.

“I hate to address it but niggas wearin’ dresses now? Hey, it do cost a lot to live this here lifestyle,” Soulo raps. “Cash Money talk, bullshit walk a million miles / And I don’t even write, where am I supposed to draw the line?”

According to MTV, the TDE rapper says the song was “ghostwritten by Capital STEEZ” and also offers some words of praise towards North Carolina’s Rapsody.

Shortly after the track was released, one of Pro Era’s co-founders CJ Fly took to Twitter to try and lure Ab-Soul over to the Brooklyn collective.

“@abdashsoul then come to Pro Era Records (Suge Voice) LOL,” CJ Fly tweeted.

Soulo simply replied: “@FLYestintheeERA hahaha #47KGOLDSOUL”
