Less than two weeks after Kanye West appeared as the featured musical guest at Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary special, the series spoofed his recent public apologies on last night’s episode (February 28).
Making light of Ye’s Twitter apologies to Beck and Bruno Mars, Hip Hop impression regular Jay Pharoah made an appearance on the show’s “Weekend Update” segment as West and spoofed the Tweets with an over-the-top rendition of a “Good Morning” apology remix.

Earlier today Kanye West used his Twitter account for a different purpose and announced the title and potential album artwork for his next release.

GAY BALFOUR AND SNL ARE BOTH WACK AS HELL.
The rapper has said sorry so many times, he is now apologizing for insults we don’t even remember. When did he ever diss Bruno?
It’s a real shame. What we are witnessing is an internal power struggle between a talented rapper and his inner jackass. Instead of sticking to rhymes or his other love, fashion design, West spends too many hours in digital solitude, hunting down slights one click at a time. Concert reviews he disagrees with, comedy bits from people like Jimmy Kimmel, it’s all grounds for feuds and unhinged counterstrikes. For a guy who claims to be as tough as steel, his skin is as thin as parchment.
parchmint? you from europe or something? n ig gas write in mud and clay huts.
If West had bionic controls to regulate speech and flight patterns, he would’ve never thrown a hissy fit and bolted from the American Music Awards in 2004 after losing Best New Artist to Gretchen Wilson, prompting him to later remark: “I was the best new artist this year.” He felt the same way two years later when he disrupted the MTV Europe Music Awards to express dismay at losing a video award to Justice vs Simian.
Then there was the incident last fall, in which West stopped a concert in Australia until the crowd was on its feet, unaware one fan who couldn’t abide by the request was in a wheelchair. When concertgoers wave prosthetic legs to prove their disabilities, it’s possible the man with the microphone is a tad heavy-handed.
if that cripple cant prove his disease then yeezus isn’t about to turn down his up turned congregation. any many woman or child that cannot walk in the name of yeezus better have a damn reason. best believe that homo was getting stabbed that night if he had two functioning legs.
13:26 Book of Yeezus. The man that hath but one leg to stand upon in my congregation. I say to thee. Remove his other leg. The pussy fuck who uses terms like “tad heavy handed”. Hath no limbs at all, for he is financially and culturally crippled.
It’s a tedious cycle in which baffling grievances are followed by dubious remorse. The problem for West is nobody is buying the apologies anymore. They’ve become too formulaic, too predictable, too rote and all too frequent. If West were truly sorry for his boorish behaviour, he would stop behaving like a boor. These outbursts have nothing to do with respecting artistry. They are about peering into those funhouse mirrors and seeing demons and injustice where none exist. Kanye West is just sorry we know he’s a jackass.
