Suge Knight’s Depiction In “Straight Outta Compton” Reportedly Led To Fatal Hit-And-Run

Suge Knight’s portrayal in the upcoming N.W.A biopic “Straight Outta Compton” led to the fatal hit-and-run last month, according to TMZ.

The publication reports that Dr. Dre never asked the former CEO of Death Row Records for permission to incorporate his likeness in the film, and this subsequently led to the parking lot incident where Suge Knight reportedly struck three men with his vehicle, injuring two and killing his alleged friend, Terry Carter.

“Sources connected to Suge tell TMZ … he got word he was included in the film, and wanted to talk to Dre about how he was being portrayed,” the article says. “As we’ve reported … Suge’s friend Terry Carter helped set up the meeting.

“As for what Suge was so worried about — a new trailer for the movie was just released, and there is a character whupping someone’s ass in a studio … who looks just like Suge,” TMZ adds. “Suge and Dre’s sit-down never happened because Suge got into a fight with actor Cle “Bone” Sloan … and eventually backed up over him and Carter.”

This news comes just after Suge Knight’s attorney David Kenner revealed that his client’s health issues were being treated as “serious,” after the music executive was hospitalized earlier this month after suffering from an intense physical reaction to a potentially fatal blood clot.

“They’re serious,” David Kenner said when asked about Suge’s health issues. “We filed a motion today as the first step to get an evaluation by the medical staff at the jail. After we have that we’re going to be reporting back to the court, so that court can make a determination as to having a private physician evaluate [him].”

    1. Jesus Christ just give this guy the electric chair and be done with it! Guy’s done more damage to the urban music industry than any human to have ever walked the earth.

    2. It’s a ‘Biographical’ movie! They can depict ANYONE that was ‘part’ of that story, no ‘permission’ needed. You think Jerry Heller had a chance to ‘approve’ his likeness in the film?! GTFOH…. Marion aka ‘Suga Bear’ just wanted to try to EXTORT Dre or ANYONE he could for $ with his broke azz! WHEN was the last ‘decade’ we spoke about Suge releasing music?! He’s JUST a criminal, put him on the Real DEATH ROW! We’ll ALL pull the switch & watch him fry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    3. Wait, you mean to tell me Suge, has a problem with someone using the likeness of his poor decisions is not OK with him?? Isnt that what helped make him famous?? Doing things like sampling music without permission..

This guy is a fool, he is worried that the real world may see his character for what he truly is, a criminal and thug, not a business man. Oh wait, everyone already knows he is just that. He is only fooling himself. Cant he accidentally be let into GP in jail?? They will take care of him…

    4. I respect the big homie. I’ll ride for Suge and the whole movement. A black man aint nothing with out street cred. I served 10yrs in mans legal system. Serving time made me a real man. Kids today cant learn nothing in these streets. We as black ppl need to be happy with the way life is. Its real life and i respect it. Black with degrees are sell outs they dont keep it real and know about the streets.

      1. you’ll ride for that piece of dog sh*t and what whole movement? the movement of being a piece of dog sh*t like suge knight? lololol ok. nice to see we still have some good upstanding african american citizens left in the community. keep up the good work bro!

    5. I respect rappers who serve time and understand the street codes. Prison is where ever black man should spend time at before locking down these streets. I did a dime and then just finishing doing another 3yr. I had to ride for my homie on the outside who facing an L. It built my cred in the streets up and in that pen. I hope he gets out. I’d trade places to see my homies again. Also my seed is locked down learning how to be a man. One love. Evil God

    6. F*ck suge and anyone that supports that cancer to society. he has done far more harm than good for the hip hop world and all of society alike. he is still running around doing stupid sh*t like its still the 90s at 49 years of age. that is pathetic and unacceptable. this article still does not support suge’s self defense claim and regardless it would still be involuntary manslaughter and hit and run. his lawyer already admitted that suge was behind the wheel of the car that hit 3 people and killed 1 so hes already guilty. lock him up and throw away the key its for the greater good and for the safety of the public.

    7. Suge is the GOAT label owner. He is the blueprint of a label head. Follow Suges lead & you to can be like Suge. Suge is a real genius in rap business. Runnin’ over mufuckaz is THE g way to handle biz. His dead friend aint nothin’ to a boss!

      1. I feel you on that Love. Suge it business over love. Thats i treat all situations in life. The kids in Compton could learn more from him than in these white schools. I love all the work and lesson the OG’s put me on in the streets and when i served time. I’d do it again. One love N.A.T.A.S
        Evil God.

      2. suge is an old fat broke piece of shit who got to see all of his employees rise above him and leave him behind. that is not the quality of a leader. he is now and always was a flashy liability.

    8. Suge being worried about how he is depicted? He wanted a sit down with Dre? Hahahahahahaha. Just funny to think about really after Dre left probably the biggest record label in the world at the time, one he owned part of, and got nothing for it. No royalty checks. Nothing. One guy came out a billionaire….another is probably going to die in prison….

      1. We would also still have Tupac and Biggie. If you do the math that’s a lot more classic records if they were alive to produce them.

    9. Suge had it all and blew it all but he was a piece of the west coast that cant be denied ! he is on his last leg suffering from gun shots and a dying industry
