R&B crooner Ne-Yo officially makes his debut on the charts following the release of his Non-Fiction album. Despite their strong debuts on the charts last week, both Joey Bada$$ and Lupe Fiasco fall drastically. Nicki Minaj continues to hold strong with her The Pinkprint album, again clenching a spot in the Top 10.
J. Cole, Rae Sremmurd, Mark Ronson and Charlie Wilson also manage to make their way onto this week’s list.
Ne-Yo’s “Non-Fiction” Debuts At #5
With the release of his first album since 2012’s R.E.D., Camden, Arkansas songster Ne-Yo found a worthy spot on the charts this week with his newest project, Non-Fiction. The album debuted at #5, beating out the likes of Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy and Mark Ronson. On the album, which was released late last month, Ne-Yo recruited a number of Hip Hop notables including T.I., ScHoolboy Q, Jeezy, and Juicy J.
Nicki Minaj Remains In The Top 10
Following the release of Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint album nearly two months ago, the Queens, New York rapstress is still holding strong to her Top 10 positioning on the charts. This week, the album secured the #8 spot on the charts, a small drop from last week, which found The Pinkprint at #6. The album moved more than 20,000 units this week and was streamed nearly 13 million times.
Joey Bada$$ & Lupe Fiasco Take A Tumble
Following impressive debuts last week, both Joey Bada$$‘s and Lupe Fiasco’s albums fell quite a few spots on this week’s chart. Joey Bada$$’ B4.Da.$$, which debuted at #5 last week, dropped to #41 while Lupe Fiasco’s Tetsuo & Youth made its way to #37 this week with album sales a little under 11,000.

Billboard made some changes on the albums chart by adding streams and single sales
b4.Da.$$ wasn’t that good tho…. Summer Knights was better as a whole. Joey need to go harder next time.
What about Derek Minor (formerly known as PRo)? He used to be on Lecrae’s label (Reach Records) and just sold 10,584 copies of his new album “Empire” this past week – on RMG (a label he co-owns). According to your list (above), that should put him somewhere around the top 20 mark.
Regarding Derek Minor’s album sales (see below), I meant top 40 mark.
Can we please have total album sales back please? It was very helpful
