It’s hard to believe that it has been a year since the last episode of “Chappelle Show” aired and fans everywhere have been waiting for the third season to finally air. But now fans are going to have to wait longer. How long? Nobody knows.
With the series already being pushed back a little over 3 months because of numerous complications, including Dave Chappelle coming down with the flu and a rumored writer’s block, the series took another hit. The highly anticipated third season was ready to air on May 31st but an unexpected announcement from Comedy Central stated that the show has been put on an indefinite hold..
“Comedy Central has suspended production on the third season of ‘Chappelle’s Show’ until further notice,” Comedy Central spokesperson Tony Fox said in a statement. “All parties are optimistic that production will resume in the near future.”
So who knows if Dave will ever have to earn the $50 Million that Comedy Central gave him.
