We reported the Jackie-O/Foxy Brown skirmish about a week ago and now Foxy has told Miami’s 99 Jamz radio station that the fight never even happened. Since then Jackie-O has recorded a dis track that has been titled “TKO” that says otherwise…

According to MTV, Mos Def was in Miami recording tracks for his still untitled third solo album. On his recent tour he performed some new material and is said to be working on some tracks with 9th Wonder and Pharrell of the Neptunes. Word is that he is looking to finally record the follow up to the critically acclaimed Black Star album with Talib Kweli.
Hank Shocklee, one of the founding members of Public Enemy’s production team the Bomb Squad, is said to be at work on a book about the making of It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back. The 1989 recording has been recognized as one of the top 100 albums of all time by VH1 and represented a very revolutionary political force known as Public Enemy. The book is slated for a Spring 2006 release and will provide insight on all the techniques and philosophies that went into recording this landmark album.
