Nelly is getting set to make his acting debut with his role in the remake of 1974’s comedy The Longest Yard and will also showcase many of the artists on Derrty Entertainment on the soundtrack which is due out on May 24th.

The CEO of Derrty Entertainment is looking to spotlight some of his own artists that are featured on the soundtrack as well as put together a who’s who of the industry. The soundtrack features Derrty Ent. artists including Jung Tru (pronounced “Young True”) and King Jacob (who are featured on the lead single, “Errtime”) and other popular artists, including Nelly himself, Murphy Lee and Ali of the St. Lunatics, D-12 featuring Eminem, Lil Wayne, T.I., Gipp (of Goodie Mob) and Akon.

Nelly will handle the executive producing duties on the 13 track album which ads to his entrepreneurial resume which includes his clothing lines Vokal and Applebottoms, an energy drink called Pimp Juice, and a sold-out U.S. tour.
