O.T. Genasis’ anthem “CoCo” is approaching gold status.
In a handwritten letter posted to his Twitter account yesterday (January 21) , Conglomerate label chief Busta Rhymes praises the music industry for the song’s success.
“1st things 1st,” he writes. “I want to thank every single DJ from the clubs to the radio, every radio station, program director, every radio personality, every blogger, every website, every media outlet, all of television and last but not lest EVERY SINGLE FAN for the love and the support that you all have given us by becoming such a strong and collective support system in helping us give to you our new incredible artist O.T. Genasis and his smash hit single ‘CoCo’ which is now approaching GOLD!! ”
Busta founded Conglomerate Records under the name Flipmode Entertainment in 1994. It carried acts such as Rah Digga, Papoose and the Flipmode Squad.

In 2011, Flimode flipped its moniker to Conglomerate Records. Now, the label carries O.T. Genasis and another up and comer, J-Doe, who Busta believes is “up next.”
He promoted the California singer/songwriter/rapper/producer in his note as well.
“Please be clear J-Does is up next,”he wrote. We have 2 major looks for J-Doe hitting your screens, airwaves and everywhere else very soon!!.”
