Andre 3000 is quickly becoming hip-hop’s next big movie star. With his role in “Be Cool” becoming a fan favorite, one has to wonder if Andre is on course to join the likes of Ice Cube, Ice T, Will Smith and others.
According to Variety, Andre has signed on to star in an as-yet-untitled modern-day musical that’s being developed by Double Feature Films(“Along Came Polly”). Andre will co-produce the project and will play “someone with magical powers, who comes into the lives of a family,” Variety reported.
In the meanwhile, Andre can be seen sharpening his skills in a plethora of feature films. He can be seen in the upcoming HBO film which was formerly known as “My Life in Idlewild,” and has signed on to be in the Guy Ritchie upcoming gangster flick “Revolver”. He will also act alongside Tyrese and Mark Wahlberg in “Four Brothers” which will be directed by John Singleton. He will also voice Elwyn the crow on the live interpretation of “Charlotte’s Web.”
